The Talbot Hotel Group has bought the Midleton Park Hotel in Cork.

The Talbot Hotel Group has bought the Midleton Park Hotel in Cork.

The Wexford-based hotel group plans to invest €1m in the property.

A receiver was appointed to the Midleton Park Hotel in summer 2012.

The Talbot group says the purchase fully secures the future of the hotel and its 80 staff.
