Irish Ferries begins Dublin to Cherbourg route

Irish Ferries is today starting its new direct service between Dublin and Cherbourg in France.

The company has operated a service between Rosslare and France for many years.

The new route from Dublin will take 19 hours and will be operated by the freight and passenger ferry Epsilon.
