Irish newspapers see continued decline in sales
Latest figures show sales of Irish newspapers are continuing to fall.
ABC data shows Irish Independent sales dropped 3.9%, while the Irish Times saw a fall of 9% in the first half of the year.
The Independent also saw no "Anglo tapes" bounce as sales in June were down compared to May.
The Irish Examiner and Evening Herald also saw a decline in sales to June, down by 5.8% and 4.3% respectively.
Sunday Independent sales went down 2.6% in first half of the year, with the Sunday World saw its sales decrease by 6.9%.
Sales of The Sunday Business Post also fell 6.7%, which comes after a rescue plan for the troubled weekly paper was approved in June.
