Turbulence research finding 'could save billions in energy costs'

A Southampton University scientist has helped to develop a new method of understanding the complex world of turbulence which could save billions in global energy costs.

Ati Sharma and a US-based colleague have pioneered an approach that will help designers create more efficient transport in the future.
