Government consider tightening up loopholes in wake of Apple revelations
The Government is reportedly considering tightening up tax loopholes used by US multinationals.
According to the Sunday Business Post, Department of Finance officials are discussing closing the 'Double Irish' system - which allows firms like Apple to channel profits through Irish subsidiaries.
