Anastasiades: Cyprus will not leave Eurozone

The Cypriot President has said his country will not leave the Euro.

This comes despite the harsh terms of an EU-led bailout deal that saved the island from bankruptcy.

Nicos Anastasiades told the Cyprus News Agency they will not engage in 'risky experiments' that will endanger the future of the country.

He has also criticised the previous government for pouring money into the island's second largest lender Laiki, which will be wound up under the terms of the bailout.

It also demands harsh reforms to Cyprus's banking system, and a raid on deposits over €100,000.
