57% of workers admit faking mileage claims

More then half of Irish drivers who use their car for business have admitted submitting false mileage claims.

The research carried out by Tom Tom Business Solutions found that 57% had over-estimated their mileage when claiming expenses.

A total of 25% said they regularly submitted exaggerated claims.
