Thousands expected at Working Abroad Expo in Cork
Thousands of jobseekers are expected to attend today's Working Abroad Expo in Cork.
Companies from countries including Australia, Canada and New Zealand are hoping to fill vacancies across a range of sectors including construction, sales and marketing.
Experts will also be on hand to discuss issues such as securing a visa and settling overseas.
David Walsh from the Working Abroad Expo said Irish workers were held in high regard across the world.
"Employers are blown away by the quality and quantity of people in Ireland, (with) the work ethic and the culture of the Irish-trained work force. They're coming back because a lot of the people they hired are working out really, really well," he said.
