Ulster Bank has confirmed that any redundancies arising out of the closure of 22 branches will be on a voluntary basis.

Ulster Bank has confirmed that any redundancies arising out of the closure of 22 branches will be on a voluntary basis.

The Irish Bank Officials Association said rural areas had been disproportionately affected after the bank named the affected branches in a move that had been expected.
