French Connection to close loss-making stores - but none in Ireland
French Connection says it plans to close loss-making branches, after reporting a loss of £6.3m (€7.8m) in the six months to the end of July.
That compares with a small profit from the year before.
Like for like sales at French Connection's 70 stores in Europe - most of them in the UK and Ireland - fell by just under 10%.
However, the company says no Irish stores are to close under a restructuring plan for the company.
