The recall affects the Avensis, Auris and RAV4 Toyota models.

The company said that the problem involves the rear suspension arm of the vehicles.

Toyota Ireland said that the move will affect more than 6,000 Avensis vehicles and almost 4,000 RAV4 models here.

They were manufactured between November 2008 and January 2011 in the case of the Avensis- and November 2005 and August 2010 in the case of the RAV4.
