ISEQ marginally down

The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed down 4 points to 3,085 today, a drop of just 0.1%.

Exploration companies were among the major fallers, with Petroceltic down 14.89% to €0.08; Ormonde Mining down 9.09% to €0.10 and Kenmare Resources shedding 8.22% to €0.53.

Also down were Kerry Group, slipping 1.44% to €32.82, and FBD Holdings, down 0.43% to €8.36.

CRH was 0.4% lower to €13.89.

Among the risers, Independent News & Media gained 3.7% to €0.28 and Elan added 1.9% to €10.48.
