Clerys records €2m loss
Clerys department store has released figures showing it recorded a loss of €2m in the year to the end of January.
The gross transaction value of sales also fell 8% to just under €47m in the 12-month period.
The business includes the iconic store on Dublin's O'Connell Street, as well as three home-furnishing stores in Dublin and Kildare.
The company expects trading conditions to remain very challenging in the medium term.
