Spain’s economy stagnated in the third quarter of the year following two quarters of modest growth, official figures showed today.

Spain’s economy stagnated in the third quarter of the year following two quarters of modest growth, official figures showed today.

The figures from the National Statistics Institute come days ahead of elections which the opposition conservative Popular Party is predicted to win by a landslide.
