ESB advertises for new chief executive

The ESB has placed an advertisement in the Financial Times this morning looking for a new chief executive.

The ESB has placed an advertisement in the Financial Times this morning looking for a new chief executive.

The successful candidate will replace Padraig McManus who is due to retire in a few weeks' time.

He was on an annual salary of €750,000 but it is unlikely that level of pay will be given to the new CEO and the advertisement does not give an indication of salary levels.
