News International own the News of the World, which published its last edition yesterday, after becoming mired in a phone hacking scandal.

It has also emerged that News International Chief Executive Rebekah Brooks could be questioned by police as a witness to the saga.

She was editor of the paper at the time the alleged hacking took place.
