BreakingNews.ie launches free app

To celebrate its 10th birthday, BreakingNews.ie has launched its app for i-phone and android.

The app carries all the news direct from our newsroom to you, wherever you are, covering Ireland and the world, sport, business and entertainment.

The BreakingNews.ie app is already No. 3 in the Free News app category, rated at 4.5 stars, even before its official launch.

BreakingNews.ie has been keeping online newshounds up to date with all the news for 10 years.

The site has consistently stayed in tune with technology and new media advances and this year alone saw the addition of an in-story comment facility, new picture galleries and SMS alerts.
