Quinn Insurance administrators back in court
The administrators of Quinn Insurance are due back before the High Court today.
The company, which recorded losses of €706m for 2009, is being sold to Anglo Irish Bank and Liberty Mutual.
The last time the administrators of Quinn Insurance came before the court, they were looking for a private hearing because of commercially sensitive information about the sale of the company.
The judge refused the request for privacy and put the matter back until today.
In the meantime Anglo Irish and Liberty Mutual have emerged as the preferred bidders for Quinn Insurance.
The scale of the company's losses were revealed last week - €709m for 2009 - and it is expected its non-life insurance customers will ultimately feel the burden of those losses.
