Survey reveals growth in IFSC employment

A new survey suggests some green shoots of recovery in Ireland's financial services sector.

The annual Finance Dublin Employment Survey shows employment in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) in Dublin at the end of last year had fallen from its peak in 2007 but was up by 69 jobs on 2009.

While banking has taken a hit, more than 100 of the 450 companies surveyed were increasing their workforce, particularly in the funds and insurance sectors.
