Slight rise in London airport passenger numbers

BAA, the owner of London’s Heathrow and Stansted airports, said passenger numbers edged up by 0.6% in the period to 18.7 million in the three months to March.

The figures came as the company, owned by Spanish firm Ferrovial, reported a 5.6% increase in revenues to £481.5m (€543m) in the same period.
