Commercial property market facing another tough year

The commercial property market is facing another tough year, according to real estate company DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald.

The company has said competitiveness and confidence is improving, but highlights that challenges remain.

The IT and Telecommunications sector is currently leading the way, accounting for over 70% of all newly occupied office space in Dublin between January and March.

Rental levels in office and industrial markets in the capital fell by almost 50% since the peak, making Dublin a more attractive place to do business.
