Tullow Oil today announced the discovery of a "major light oil field" in one of its offshore Ghana licences.

Tullow Oil today announced the discovery of a "major light oil field" in one of its offshore Ghana licences.

The company said that the Enyenra-2A appraisal well in the Deepwater Tano licence "has successfully encountered oil in excellent quality sandstone reservoirs".
