Flooding hits Foster's profits

Australian brewer and winemaker Foster's Group reported a 12% drop in half-year net profit as torrential rain and flooding across parts of the country hit domestic beer sales.

The Melbourne-based company said profit for the six months ending December 31 was AUS$312.1m (231.96), down from 355.7m (€264.37m) for the same period a year ago.
