Kingspan buys part of CRH Insulation Europe

Housebuilder Kingspan have bought part of CRH Insulation Europe.

The company had originally announced its intention to buy the European insulation business of CRH on November 11 last year.

Kingspan has said that the transaction has been approved by the German, Dutch and Irish competition authorities as well as the relevant works councils.

They completed the buy-out yesterday of the European polyisocyanuarate business and the Dutch expanded polystyrene and roofing elements business of CIE.

The company expects to buy the rest of the CIE businesses at the end of Q1 this year.
