Career programme has 200 vacancies

A career advancement programme has revealed it has 200 work placement opportunities available nationwide for experienced and professional workers.

Begin Again - which has been developed by the Irish Centre for Business Excellence (ICBE) - provides participants with a 12-week work placement within a suitable company.

The programmes match an individual's skills and expertise with industry gaps and opportunities.

Participants meet with a number of possible companies to discuss the mutual benefits of a work placement.

More than 400 companies have signed up to provide work placements including Boston Scientific, SuperMacs and SR Technics.
