Troubled building firm McInerney Homes is before the High Court looking for the appointment of an examiner.

Troubled building firm McInerney Homes is before the High Court looking for the appointment of an examiner.

The move is being opposed by three banks who are owed €111m.

An interim examiner was appointed to the group's Irish operations last month.
