Britvic reports increase in group revenue
Britvic's group revenue of £289.5m (€343.5m) in the quarter represents an increase of 16.2% on the prior year, it was announced today.
The underlying Irish, British and international business seeing a combined revenue increase of 6.9%.
GB & International revenues in the quarter grew by 6.6% to £223.2m (€264.77m).
Britvic France, the newly-created division comprising Fruité Entreprises SA, contributed revenue of £23.2m (€27.5m) for the month of June, in line with expectations, following completion of the acquisition at the end of May 2010.
In the year to date, group revenue (including Britvic France) increased by 8.5% to £794.8m (€942.33m), with the underlying GB, International and Irish businesses delivering a revenue increase of 5.4%.
British and international revenues in the year to date grew by 8% to £638.8m (757.37m).
Britvic Ireland’s sterling-based revenues were up 8.6% in the quarter, leading to a decelerating year-to-date decline of 5.7%.
