A provisional liquidator has been appointed to Dublin's Morrison Hotel.
Co-owner Hugh O'Regan withdrew his defence to a claim by an Anglo Irish Bank-appointed receiver for €5.7m in unpaid rent.
The hotel will remain open and will be run by liquidator Derek Earl until a replacement operator is found.
