Slight loss for ISEQ
The ISEQ index of Irish shares crept down 9.40 points to 3,061.31 by noon today.
There was mixed news for the financials. Allied Irish Banks shed 2c to 88c, but Irish Life and Permanent gained 7c to €1.72. Bank of Ireland was unchanged at 78c.
Elsewhere, Dragon Oil endured a heavy fall of 36c to €4.49. DCC was down 24c to €19.26, with Kingspan losing 22c to €6.28.
FBD was 12c in the red at €6.33.
There were some gains however, with Paddy Power (up 24c to €25.25) and Kerry Group (up 20c to €23.40) doing well.
