Release of banking reports not expected for days
Two reports on the collapse of the banking sector are not expected to be published for a number of days.
Finance Minister Brian Lenihan received a report from the Central Bank Governor Dr Patrick Honohan yesterday evening, and another from German banking expert Claus Regling last week.
The Cabinet is to hold a special meeting to discuss the reports in the coming days, after which they will be made public.
The two reports will set the agenda for a full formal commission of inquiry into the banking collapse.
