McCarthy: Greek crisis affecting Ireland's plans
The author of the report from An Bord Snip Nua Colm McCarthy has said Ireland may need to take more corrective measures for the economy sooner than planned, because of recent events in Greece.
Economist Mr McCarthy said the country has already suffered in the bond markets through no fault of our own, because of "nervous activity in the external markets".
Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has said he doesn't believe Ireland's economy will suffer as a result of the devastating debt situation in Greece.
But Colm McCarthy says the Goverment's strategy has been disrupted by events of the past few weeks.
