Donegal tourism to market county for 'staycations'

Tourism chiefs in Donegal are vying to make the county the number one choice for people holidaying at home.

They plan to showcase what the North-West has to offer at a free event in Dublin's Temple Bar later this month.

'Donegal Live' will feature a ceili mor, step dancing and performances by a host of artists including Altan, Maire Brennan and the Donegal Tenors.

Organiser John Carr says the county is ideal for a 'staycation'.
