Retailers call for fairer rents

Retailers are calling for fairer rental agreements that reflect the downturn in the economy.

They say they are still struggling to pay high rents negotiated a number of years ago.

Groups including Retail Excellence Ireland and the Society of Chartered Surveyors will appear before the Oireachtas Enterprise Committee later.
