The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has today been given the go-ahead to operate the second terminal at Dublin Airport.

The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has today been given the go-ahead to operate the second terminal at Dublin Airport.

Transport Minister Noel Dempsey has confirmed that he has scrapped plans for a procurement process, saying none of the rival candidates met the minimum requirements.

However the Minister is stressing the DAA will have to prove it can run the terminal within the cost guidelines set out by the Commission for Aviation Regulation.
