Report highlights importance of Waterford Airport to economy

A new report is highlighting the importance of Waterford Airport to the economy of the South East region.

A total of 85% of businesses located there say the airport is vital to their operations, with one third of users being business-related passengers.

Waterford Airport is responsible for up to 560 direct and indirect jobs in the region.

Following the latest capital investment in an extended runway and other facilities, Waterford will be in a position to handle a wider range of aircraft and offer improved access for tourists and business customers.
