Report puts Ireland third in globalisation stakes

A new report on globalisation has revealed that Ireland is the third most globalised of 60 nations behind Singapore and Hong Kong.

It means we are heavily dependent on what happens in the global economy and the performance of our exports.

The report 'Globalisation and the Changing World of Business' was compiled by Ernst and Young.

Partner Colm Devine said our abilities in the exchange of technology as well as cultural understanding are a main driver.
