Cadbury investors today sent a clear message to US food giant Kraft that it would need to pay more to succeed with its hostile bid for the Dairy Milk maker.

Kraft said it had support from investors holding just 1.5% of Cadbury’s shares for its offer, which currently values the firm at around £10.5bn (€11.7bn).
