The ISEQ index of Irish shares climbed 0.71% in early trading today, adding 20.71 points to 2,946.97 by 2pm.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares climbed 0.71% in early trading today, adding 20.71 points to 2,946.97 by 2pm.

Among the risers were DCC, which jumped 30c to €19.55 after it said it was to acquire UK fuel distribution firm Brogans.
