Japan Airlines has been offered an almost €730m lifeline from a partnership led by American Airlines.

Japan Airlines has been offered an almost €730m lifeline from a partnership led by American Airlines.

American and its One World allies - which include British Airways - made the move as rival Delta Air Lines bids for a piece of Asia's biggest carrier.
