Computer maker Hewlett Packard and Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) are to jointly fund a €3.7m nanoscience research programme with CRANN, the SFI funded Centre for Science Engineering and Technology (CSET) located in Trinity College, it was announced today.

Computer maker Hewlett Packard and Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) are to jointly fund a €3.7m nanoscience research programme with CRANN, the SFI funded Centre for Science Engineering and Technology (CSET) located in Trinity College, it was announced today.

The investment will fund research into the development of technologies for flexible electronic displays that can be used for laptops, e-books and other devices.
