ISEQ marginally up
The ISEQ index of Irish shares was marginally up in early trading this morning, adding 0.15 points to 3,266.66 by 11.25am.
Among the early risers were Paddy Power, up 93c to €23.30; Tullow Oil, adding 16c to €13.72; Merrion Pharmaceutical, lifting 13c to €3.69; Smurfit Kappa, up 6c to €5.96; Kerry Group, adding 5c to €19.70; CRH, also up 5c, to €19.55; Glanbia, up 4c to €2.90; Aryzta, also up 4c, to €26.72, and Aer Lingus, climbing 2c to €0.74.
On the fallers' board, DCC dropped 35c to €18.30 and Grafton Group shed 9c to €3.61.
Financial stocks were mixed, with AIB unchanged at €2.67, Bank of Ireland down 5c to €2.64 and Irish Life & Permanent up 8c to €5.71.
