ISEQ climbs above 3,000 mark

The ISEQ index of Irish shares climbed above the 3,000-point mark in today's trading, adding 13.02 to close at 3,006.55.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares climbed above the 3,000-point mark in today's trading, adding 13.02 to close at 3,006.55.

Shares in building materials provider Kingspan rose 76c to €6.15 despite the announcement of a 66% slump in operating profits for the six months to the end of June.
