The ISEQ index of Irish shares gained some ground today, climbing 17.11 points to 2,881.22.
The financials did moderately well. Bank of Ireland led the way, gaining 9c to €2.10. Irish Life and Permanent improved 3c to €3.63 and Allied Irish Banks inched up 2c to €2.12.
