ISEQ down over 45 points

The ISEQ index of Irish shares fell 45.52 points today, closing at 2,835.55.

Notable among the fallers were CRH, down 72c to €17.50; Tullow Oil, falling 57c to €11.50; Paddy Power, dropping 50c to €16.35; Elan Corp, down 23c to €5.45; Merrion Pharmaceuticals, 15c off at €3.60; Grafton Group, down 8c to €3.32; Kerry Group, slipping 6c to €16.90, and C&C, down 5c to €1.99.
