ISEQ slightly down
The ISEQ index of Irish shares suffered some small losses in this morning's early trading.
At 11am, the index was valued at 2,367.78, a fall of 46.10 points or 1.91%.
None of the major banks were reporting gains - AIB was down 1c to €1.04, Bank of Ireland fell 4c to 82c while Irish Life & Permanent was unchanged at €2.15.
Elsewhere, there were not too many big movers. The biggest to gain were First Derivatives (up 40c to €2.80) and Dragoin Oil, which added 12c to be valued at €2.77.
Going in the opposite direction was Merrion Pharmaceuticals, which lost 34c to €3.36.
