AIG bonuses much higher than first indicated

Documents turned over to the office of Connecticut’s attorney general by American International Group (AIG) show the company paid out US$218m (€160.6m) in bonuses, higher than the US$165m (€121.5m) previously disclosed.

Documents turned over to the office of Connecticut’s attorney general by American International Group (AIG) show the company paid out US$218m (€160.6m) in bonuses, higher than the US$165m (€121.5m) previously disclosed.

Attorney General Richard Blumenthal’s office received the documents late yesterday after issuing a subpoena.
