Shannon moves eyes cargo expansion

Shannon Airport is to explore the possibility of expanding its cargo facilities.

The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Lynxs Group, a Texas-based international cargo facility company, to jointly explore the possible development of the airport.

Director of Shannon Airport Martin Moroney has described the deal as a significant step towards achieving the goal of the airport becoming a major cargo facility.
