Further fall in UK house prices

British house prices fell by a further 1.8% during February, pushing the average cost of a home back below the £150,000 (€167,455) threshold, figures showed today.

Nationwide Building Society said the average property in the UK was now worth £147,746 (€164,939) - £31,612 (€35,289) less than in the same month of 2008.
