Irish companies are being urged to donate unwanted office equipment to charity.

Ireland Donates is a network set up to pass on old office supplies to NGOs and charities.

It wants people to donate unwanted furniture, computers and software from their workplace as part of its "skip the dump" campaign.

The organisation's co-founder Shane O'Halloran said it is time to give your office workplace a spring clean.

"There are lots of useful things that can be donated, such as binders, chairs and tables that could be used by a voluntary organisation," he said.
