Recession hits Golden Discs

An examiner has been appointed to the Golden Disc Group.

The appointment was made at the High Court as a result of difficult trading results in six of the company's 20 shops last year.

The company has said it is confident that a re-structuring under the examinership process will enable a very positive future for the stores, where it is business as usual.
